How to read this
These are typical windows from the last five springs, not a weather forecast. The Korea Meteorological Administration publishes its official prediction in early March; we update this page the same week. A warm March pulls everything four or five days earlier; a cold snap pushes it back. Peak bloom means the week from full bloom, when the trees look like the photos.

Fall foliage, the other season
If you miss spring, autumn does the same trick in reverse: Seoraksan turns first around the first week of October, Seoul's ginkgo and maples peak in the first half of November, and the south (Naejangsan, Jirisan) follows. Nami Island and Deoksugung's ginkgo road are the Seoul-side classics.
